Riding Down the L.A. River

This art piece depicts part of the Los Angeles River at the Hollydale Entrance, and the train tracks that are by the Azalea Shopping Center on Atlantic Avenue in South Gate, California. The glitter on the ground and on the woman signify that the search for self often brings us back home.

The materials used were charcoal, spray paint, glitter, coffee and photocopy transfers on paper on a wood panel. Art work is 23.25 inches x 21 inches (59.055 cm x 53.34 cm).
