Ni Santas Performance
Trying to bring awareness about women’s issues to over sexualized and partied Hollywood BLVD, Ni Santas Collective decided to do a mini protest at L.A. Freewaves’ LOVE &/OR FEAR on September 9, 2019. The indoor/outdoor participatory event brought together 35+ artists, art collectives, and organizations to celebrate intersectional gender identities building community and launching a SEXUAL HARASSMENT FREE ZONE in partnership with Peace Over Violence. For their protest Ni Santas came up with nine original chants under the direction of Esperanza Cisneros. Project was led by Joan “Zeta” Zamora.
